We’re so excited to meet you!
At Second Shapes Bookstore, you’ll find a curated collection of locally published and self-published work, an abundance of used books, a stellar collection of zines, work by local artists, and more. We plan to host pop-up shops with our friends and neighbors, so make sure you check our calendar to see if you’ll also be scoring fresh babka, flowers, or artwork when you come in.
Bring us your books!
An annual $20 Shapeshifter Membership allows you to trade books for in-store credit! We offer $1 per paperback, $2 per hardcover, and up to 50% of in-demand and rare books. You can use your store credit to purchase any book and select zines and artwork.

Note: If the cost of membership is unaffordable for you and you would still like to trade books for in-store credit, just holler! We are open to sliding scale / barter / and thanks to the generosity of amazing customers, have a few funded memberships available to gift. Just email hello@secondshapesbookstore.com to claim!
Have books you just want to donate? We love that! You can bring in 1-2 bags or a small box any time we’re open. If you have more than that, please email us to coordinate a drop off or pick up.

Become a consigner
We love self-published writers, small presses, zinesters, artists, crafters, and makers of all shapes. We offer a 60/40 split on all consigned items, with 60% going to you! If you have questions or special requests, please contact us through our consignment form.
